Spring 1 Session Learn to Skate Early Bird Registration Ends Thursday February 19th

SPring 1 LTS CLASS Schedule

Spring 1 is our next session of LTS

Click here to join our email list to get notified when our next session of learn to skate registration opens. Currently, we are unable to add skaters to our Winter 1 session.

Spring 1 will run the week of February 22nd through the week of April 6th.

No classes the week of March 23rd.

If we have to miss a class, are make-up classes an available option?

Due to limited staff, ice time, and the large number of skaters, we do not offer make-up classes. Absences for any reason (illness, vacation, emergencies, etc.) cannot be accommodated. Consistent attendance is essential, as the Learn to Skate USA curriculum follows a structured progression and make-ups disrupt both instruction and evaluation.

Importance of Ice Maintenance

We sincerely value our community's use of our rinks and the shared commitment to maintaining them as safe and enjoyable spaces for everyone. To ensure the quality and safety of the ice for all users, consistent and thorough ice maintenance is critical. This involves tasks such as measuring and recording ice thickness, edging, shaving, and adding water to maintain the ideal ice condition. Proper ice thickness reduces wear and tear on key systems, including compressors, HVAC units, the rink infrastructure, and the ice resurfacer. This not only improves safety and quality for users but also allows us to provide reliable, high-quality ice while conserving energy.

A less visible but essential aspect of ice maintenance is air quality management. After 2–3 hours of ice work, the building's HVAC system must restore safe air conditions for patrons. Safety remains our top priority, which is why the rink may occasionally appear unused following maintenance...we're just preparing for our next users.
